I have just turned 38, and I am sick and tired of girls who waste my time. The biggest problem I've experienced is women who are not able to be open and honest and communicative. It kinda sucks when a woman tells you for 3 months that she loves you, and then 2 weeks later that she never loved you and here's the reasons why; but oh, she's telling you too late to do anything about it and it's over. I just don't have the patience for that type of game-playing anymore. So I decided to give Match.com a try.
A little bit about me:
I am 5'10", about 165#, very short brown hair, brown eyes. I have 1 1/2 years sober, and I have just quit smoking. I work for a major computer/phone/music player retail store, and it is a very good company to work for. My future is secure on the path I am on with them. I have lived in southwest Florida, in the Fort Myers/Naples area, for about 3 1/2 years. I am originally from the Philly area. I miss Wawas and a good cheesesteak and scrapple and REAL soft pretzels, but I wouldn't trade the weather here in SWFL for a Philly winter again. I enjoy computers, reading, movies, rock music, a little bit of TV, watching NFL/NHL games (Go Eagles, Go Flyers!!). I like cats AND dogs. I have a cat, and would like to get a Rottweiler and a Doberman, and more cats, some day. My last long term relationship was 4 1/2 years long, and we were engaged, but it didn't work out in the end. It ended about 4 years ago. I have had difficulty finding a woman that is a good match for me since then. I have also decided not to settle for anything less than what I'm looking for.
What I'm looking for:
I have always had a thing for redheads, and I love the pale skin/freckles look. So I am looking for a redhead, preferably blue-eyed, mid-20's to late-30's. I like really skinny girls, no offense to anyone, but I like the girls that other guys think need to gain some weight. I don't, on the other hand, care one way or the other about breast size. Small, big, doesn't matter. I would like to have kids before I get too old to enjoy them. I'd like to meet a woman who wants to have kids sooner rather than later. I don't mind if she already has kids. I don't mind if she smokes, but I would much prefer if she were not a drinker. I would prefer a woman who is not overly religious. It would be nice if she was into sci-fi and computers, and if she shoots pool, that would be a big bonus. I shot on a pool league for many years, but have not been playing very much at all in the last couple of years, and would love to have someone that I could share my passion for that sport with.
But most importantly, she needs to be able to TALK to me about what's going on inside her head, no matter how silly or stupid she thinks that I'll think it is. There is nothing more important to a relationship succeeding than open and honest communication.
