Born and raised up North, looking for a change of pace, I chose to attend college down South. Upon graduation I had the urge to travel, therefore spent 6 months post graduation doing just that; backpacking internationally. When my pockets were empty, it was time to embrace the whole “young professional” concept. Where better to reside than in Raleigh, NC with my closest friends? Over the past three years I have truly enjoyed my job, no complaints here!
Friends say I’m independent, honest, sarcastic, fun loving, hard working, family oriented and social. I notice the little things. I'm shy at the first introduction. I enjoy any reason to get dressed up. Unlike my dermatologist, I live for beach weekends!. I enjoy delicious wine, cooking and bear hugs. I get pumped over a close scoring football game, as well as seeing the Christmas Spectacular at DPAC. I think staying fit is really important however, on occasion, I don't mind swapping a workout for a much needed happy hour.
I’m looking for someone who lives life to the fullest - cliche or not, its true. Someone who knows how to compromise. Someone understanding, honest, genuine, responsible, and unselfish. Someone with a happy heart who's easy going and can get along with my friends. An individual willing to embrace new adventures and try new foods. Someone whos fit but isnt a gym rat. Someone who has a good sense of style when deemed appropriate. Someone wanting to find out what other wonderful things are out there in the world and enjoys traveling. Somone who enjoys a hectic, action packed weekend just as much as one spent at home, relaxing with a homemade pizza, bottle of red and a good movie!
I do believe that everything happens for a reason, and your life can change in an instant, therefore I’m looking for someone who doesn’t take life (or politics for that matter) too seriously. My life isn’t cookie cutter and I don’t expect yours to be either.
Coming to the realization that I’m not going to start a significant relationship at happy hour, I’ve decided to live by the words of the Wall Street Journal, and put some belief to the fact that there are millions of people my age that have found success in the world of online dating.
