Where do you start talking about yourself...ok, my friends would say I am easy going, fun, intelligent, down to earth, attractive, have a good job in a great industry, and have a pretty terrific family. I laugh easily, look at life as much more than half full, and want a best friend who I can talk share my life's passions, learn from each other, laugh, run, family time, and just enjoy each and every day.
I'm often found catching up with my friends and family, running, spending time at the gym, or ideally doing anything by the water. I love to spend time with niece and nephews and outdoor activities incl. sailing, standup paddleboarding (I have two), kayaking, watersking, snowsking, hiking, golfing, and as I recently re-discovered, overnight camping in the mountains. In Sept. I fished the Kenai River in AK and fell in love with the fight of catching a big salmon. Live music is always a good night out. I enjoying seeking what life sends my way and making the most of every day. I hope to hike Machu Picchu one day. I love a good night out (or staying in) with my best friend whether we are exploring the city, cooking at home, or catching the latest movie. I'm fortunate to have a good job with a company that I respect and admire. I enjoy exploring new places and experiencing new cultures probably partly due to being a military brat. Travels and adventures in the past couple of years include learning to scuba dive in Puerto Vallarta, exploring a bit of Alaska and the coast of Maine, Paris, and Ireland. I've also been to Australia, NZ, Hong Kong, Croatia, Bosnia, Austria, Finland, Amsterdam, and the Hague. I told you I have a love of travel :) My family and friends are very important to me and I am very fortunate to have siblings close in age who are great friends and niece and nephews that I love to hang out with and travel with. Many of my adventures have been with my siblings.
Hmmm, why is this girl available you ask? I've periodically had jobs that require traveling, attended grad school part time over 5 years, and helped to take care of my parents for several years until my mother's passing last year. My hope is to find my best friend who we find compliments each other's life, gives each other energy, laugh a lot together, and loves to tease and be teased. Life is too short to settle. My parents celebrated 50 years together and they were a great example of true love and commitment each and every day. I'm hoping to meet new people this way and if I meet that special someone, what a great bonus!
It would be wonderful to meet a good man who has depth of character, is happy with himself, knows who he is and what he wants, has a fun sense of humor, an optimistic outlook on life and truly wants a life long best friend and partner. Ideally, you are athletic, happy in your career, caring, attractive, intelligent, and are close with family. Being a good communicator is key. You believe in God and its a part of who you are (...hey, notice I didn't say religious). Exploring the Shenandoah mountains and having a love of water sports is a bonus :) You like to have fun and share my view that life is all about the ride...making the most of each and every day. You love to enjoy time together and with family...at restaurants, traveling, at home, outdoor adventures or sports, and other fun stuff we can get ourselves into. And, you are looking for the girl to share the rest of life with and also want the "one" that our friends and family tell us that is out there and "you will know when you find it." If you are professional, athletic, truly happy with life and yourself, attractive (need a spark, right?), shoot me an email. I'd love to connect!
