I'm a tall Irish quasi-redhead, laid-back and over-educated. I love my friends, still friends with a few I've had since before kindergarden, but I make new friends when I can. I love running, and getting outside despite my busy life. I guess I've spent a long time focusing on my career but I'm trying to find a better balance and push out of my comfort zone. I love kids, and totally want children, but for now, my friends kids and my nieces and nephews get really cool presents. I'm not shy in the least, don't think twice about throwing a a small BBQ/cooking dinner for a bunch of friends, I think birthdays are important and go all out!...but depend on technology to help me remember dates;-) I want someone who is passionate about human rights, humanity, loves sarcasm, the NYTimes and the BBC. I read the economist and watch E-television so maybe I'm not simple...go figure.
I'm moving from Queens in a couple of months to Erie and am looking forward to getting out of the city. I never really planned on staying in NY, left most of my stuff in storage; but now I'm looking for a place and will be picking up my 13yo mutt Annie from my dad's and scouting out all the dog parks ahead of time;-)
