Let's cut to the chase. Descriptors of me: independent, professional, opinionated but not rigid, competitive, direct, optimistic and "younger than stated age" (haha....but true, I am told)
Some of my interests: Love trying out new restaurants (especially local or hole-in-the-wall spots), experimenting in the kitchen. I enjoy wine tasting, which invariably turns into wine drinking, but I guess that's the point. I have a long bucket list of places I'd like to travel, most requiring a passport. Anxiously awaiting the start of Big 10 basketball. I am a "planner" by nature, but I do not let the clock rule me on the weekends.
What sparks my interest: I appreciate a sense of humor, but I love to talk to a guy with a sense of wit. The intellectual banter totally does it for me. Someone who is confident (without being a jerk), secure, stable, trustworthy, and supportive.
My ideal relationship (note I did not say "perfect"): Ultimately I want to be in love with my best friend. Companionship. Mutual respect is a must. A partnership. I'm a pretty independent girl but I believe there is time for couple time, family time (I have 2 boys who are the light of my life), solo time, and the occasional girls (or boys) weekend. The trick is finding a balance of those that both people can agree works.
If you are a confident guy who likes a little sass and can dish is out too, then we might hit it off. I'm not in a rush, so I'm first interested in conversation (see witty banter, above) and chemistry. The rest will take care of itself.
