I'll be letting this account expire on Dec 31st, taking a break. Happy New Year everyone!!! :-)
The Disclaimer:
I'm sorry to open with a harsh check list, but it will probably save us both some time. If you are under the illusion that at this point in life you have no baggage, please move on. If you believe in the fantasy that a relationship is supposed to be completely effortless and carefree all of the time, and that two grown adults will have nothing to work out and adjust, please move on. If you agree with the statement "the perfect relationship is two adults who know that no one is perfect" then please read on and hopefully we have some of the fun stuff in common.
The Fun Stuff:
I rescued a dog named Johnny and have fallen completely in love with him. He makes me smile at least a dozen time a day. I love to try new things and travel, I have seen a great deal of the world and want to keep that going (with you of course ;-). My interests are varied and diverse, I have more hobbies than time. I like to try a little of everything and challenge myself. I love to laugh, but who doesn't, I love to kiss (I mean like that really intense, making out, lost in it kind of kiss). I'm looking for a woman who is confident in her femininity, but someone who isn't trying to be the man in the relationship. Please don't confuse strength with masculine behavior, femininity is much more powerful anyway. Men may be able to move mountains, but they're usually doing it for a woman, as it should be :-) I like opening the door for you, I like giving a little gift for no reason, or rubbing your feet while watching a movie. I love that you smell feminine, and wear sexy frilly stuff sometimes, but please save the girl talk for the girls. I'm not your girlfriend, I'm your man :-) Seriously though, I do take pride in my appearance and would hope you do as well.
The Serious Part:
I'm looking for a real relationship with an emotional adult. I know that should be obvious at this stage of the game, but man oh man. :-) But I digress: I believe trust is earned. I've been around the block a few times in my life and have learned what I value is honesty, and a willingness to communicate and grow. I live an honest, spiritual life, but I don't follow any organized religion. The wisdom and humility I've gained has been from capitalizing on successes as much as making mistakes and learning from them. I do like the finer things in life, and am blessed to be able to enjoy them, but they aren't my reason for being or my sense of self. My circle of friends is small but deep. We would do anything for each other, and we value our friendship. My best qualities are honesty, compassion, communication, and sense of humor, but you'll have to be the judge of that :-)
The Conclusion:
Please love yourself enough to let me love you. Be confident enough to admit your mistakes, and forgive me when I admit mine. And let's have some fun! ;-)
