I'm originally from Boston but moved to Brooklyn in early 2011. I write for a fashion news website and go to a lot of events where I meet some pretty cool people--but I've found it really hard to meet a good (straight) guy who's actually interested in getting into a relationship. More on me... I'm funny (or at least I think so, anyway!) and I love puns. I'm creative, crafty, and really thoughtful. I feel like I'm always picking up little random presents for people. At work, my "niches" (as identified by my editor--not me) are humor and nostalgia--which I think sums me up in the most succinct way possible. I love going out and doing things, exploring the city, traveling, art, music, bars... and staying in for a movie when it's freezing out. I actually LOVE to go camping and being outdoors in general. I'm a really open person and I value that a lot in a person I'm dating--emotional availability is a must! Same goes for liking good cheese. And dogs. Dogs are always good! I don't have my own in NYC but I'm looking into fostering a pup in need.
I'd love to meet someone with ambition, who has a "real job" as well as other interests, who's social without being a crazy party person, who doesn't mind I like wearing red lipstick and hair bows on occasion. Message me if you think I sound like a total dish. Maybe hold off on the winking. It's a little passive aggressive... and more than a little creepy!
