Interest and Lifestyle
-Art: modern art and mixed media installations
-Film: local and foreign, documentaries, independent and commercial. Specially, I like Au revoir les enfants, Tous Les Matins Du Monde, Into Great Silence, The Man From Earth, Vertigo, North by Northest, Spellbound, The Big Blue, The Piano, the Piano Teacher, Cinema Paradiso, Il Postino, L'apartment, and many more.
-Technology: i need to learn/find out more about data hierarchy management.
-Books: l read a lot
-Mathematics: it's something interesting to think about sometimes...
-Philosophy: it's always interesting to think philosophically... self reflection usually interferes with our direct experiences in life, yet "an unexamined life is not worth living." Wittgenstein said if we dont look at eternity as the infinite temporal duration but timelessness, then eternal life belongs to those who live in the present. Yet we cannot live without considering our relationships with others or with our environment, and the consequences of our decisions ....it seems like an infinite loop to just rationalize whether we should rationalize just that.
-History - i got quite interested in history around the War World II period because of a good friend. The enigma machine, Bletchley Park, the rise and fall of the 3rd Reich, the manhattan project, Hirsoshima, etc., we had a goal to achieve peace. Now, we are trying to save ourselves from singularity...
