~~~ Loyalty, Respect, and Communication: All Cornerstones of a Successful Relationship ~~~ So, after far too long I decided to remake my profile. Why? My profile description said a lot about me, but not much about who I am or what my passions are. So, here it goes, Match Profile Version 2.0! First the basics. I'd never claim to be the smartest guy in the world, but I think I'm pretty sharp. Most people would probably call me a listener, but I can strike up a conversation pretty quickly if someone gets me going. What do I like to talk about? Well, just about anything, really! Whether its about what happened during the day, current events, politics, or sports, you name it, and chances are I’ll have at least something to say about it. I can also typically pretty straightforward, but like to think I’m somewhat tactful in doing do. Right now I work as a clinical engineer at a major Cleveland hospital. I studied finance, management, and the health sciences in college, and have a bit of an entrepreneurial streak in me. I am looking to start my own business and eventually would be interested in pursuing a career in hospital administration, or if the opportunity is right, politics. This may sound as though my interests are all over the place (they are!), but I’m actually quite focused, driven, and goal oriented. Chances are I’m one of the most passionate people you’ll ever meet. If I set my mind to something, be it work or play, I try to do it best I can. Also, I’m a pretty big sports fan. I’ve played baseball since I was young and follow professional baseball, football, and basketball closely. (Plus OSU, naturally:) I feel that staying fit is important and follow an aerobic exercise regimen to keep in shape. One thing that people may find unique about me is that I extract meaning out of everyday objects. I can’t say I’ve ever understood modern art, so instead I’ve discovered an attraction to objects that evoke an emotional response, specifically those that have played a role of some sort in my life. The memories and associations I make with these objects is a type of ‘invisible art’ I’ve learned to appreciate. Is that odd? Who knows… ^_^ As for my preferred match, I'm very open to diverse interests, abilities, etc. I'm much more concerned with the sum of a person’s traits (ex. motivations, personality, lifestyle) than any standardized list of preferences. I feel that a sense of mutual respect is important in any relationship, as well as a willingness to be self-introspective. While no one likes someone who is stubborn, it is nice to be able to have a discussion with someone who isn’t afraid to speak their mind and stand up for when they believe in. Having deep conversations is a great way to get to know one another! I try not to make a big deal over physical traits, but naturally everyone has a type they prefer over others. Someone who is interested in their personal health fitness is a big plus for me, as I like to stay active and would prefer someone to share that experience with. While some people shy away from taller women (I don’t know why, because they’re intimidated or something?), I’ve always enjoyed being in the company of tall girls. Shorter and average sized girls are great, don’t get me wrong! I’m just saying that if placed in a room full of random people, I might notice the tall girls first. Also, I've got to say I'm a sucker for a cute looking face and a bright, genuine smile. =D No joke ladies, if you have the face and aren’t completely nuts, you could probably have any guy you want! I'm excited to finally have my career coming to fruition and can finally give dating a chance. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll find the perfect match right here! I'll be looking around, but if you stumble upon my profile and want to say, 'Hi!', please do so! Come on ladies. It'll be fun!
