I think that asking what would be my perfect match is like asking where I will be exactly in 5 years. I have a rough idea, but have no idea what to expect. I'm very outgoing, so my match would have to be laid back. Somthing that would attract me would be a woman that is independant but would need companionship. Can she have an opinion too? hmm it seems like i'm writing out a Christmas list here instead of describing a person... oh well i'll continue. Miss right would have ambition. Well, maybe not ambition - I guess open minded for lack of a better word? Anyway, I don't expect to date myself ( if anyone watched the seinfeld episode, you know how badly that can turn out) but just a person that Has goals, lives with no regret and tries to laugh every now and again :)
Describing myself is much easier though :) I feel like i'm motivated and disiplined. I'm working full time, going to school in engineering which is, well hard isn't the word, but very time consuming. I'm the type of person that won't be confrontational about things because i'm soo much happier when people get along. It's easier for me to talk things out instead of becoming irrational. I'm also very big on courtesy. I have heard from sales people that at first glance, I'm very "californian". If i had to describe myself by naming a song, it would be "take it easy" by the eagles.
Becides my personality, i grew up in tonawanda. I went to st. john the baptist for grade school and st. joe's for high school - graduated in '01. Started work at an IT help desk right after graduation, tried the school and work at the same time gig- and took a year off to figure out what i wanted to do. Started to go back to school and both my parents became sick so i'm currently back on track this semester.
I follow sports, but i don't follow it too closely. I'd rather play a sport than watch it (i try to do well - sometimes confused with being over competitive. Why do somthing if you're not going to give it a good try??)
I'm happy with buffalo - I like to live here, but like to travel and see the world as well. I went to germany as an exchange student @ 15 and visited Acapulco Mexico @ 20. Now i'm 25, time for a new big trip! Since i study martial arts, japan would be ideal. Maybe Okinawa (where my karate form originates) or Tokyo for the NYC version of the orient. I love visiting cities.
to wrap things up, I'm interested in science, history, cultue - almost any big subject taught in the schools. Anything worth learning, i'm willing to read!
