After always saying I'd never try to meet anyone via the internet, I've decided it might be a way to meet interesting people even if it doesn't lead to a true "love" match. I've always been a self-sufficient person but I've come to a point in life that I'm ready to step back from all that independence and find the right person to share my life's hard work and success with.
I'm the kind of person who always considers consequences, tries to do the right thing, and is capable of putting the needs of others before myself. I would love to find the perfect match that has the same values and some similar interests as myself. Some differing interests do add to the excitement in a relationship. I am a very grounded person but do enjoy stepping out of that safety zone occasionally. A person who is a little more daring would make an ideal companion for me. I feel that it does take a balance between things in common and differing interests to have the ideal relationship. Its great to learn from each other.
Family is a number one priority for me. I am a social person and the true friendships I make manage to last a lifetime. I do travel as much as I can but also enjoy all the great things that my hometown of Charleston has to offer. Its the best place to be in my book.
