I've always had a little bit of trouble explaining on paper who I am. Is anyone really that good at this? If you are, and want to help me rewrite my profile/notice some room for improvement, please don't be shy. Anyways, people, (myself included) seem so nuanced and complex describing them in words can be tough! But since you're pushing me... I'd say what makes me "special" (I dont really like that word, but its the best I could think of right now, don't judge! Hence my need for one of those people I talked about in the paragraph above) is my tendency to listen to the same song over and over again on repeat, the unique but safe way I am able to hand people scissors, and my pronunciation of words like "chandelier" and "repertoire"; aside from that, I'd say they are my sense of humor, my innate curiosity about the things and people around me, my compassion, unwavering loyalty, honesty and imagination, as well as my tendency to use long run on sentences that are hard to read when describing myself in an online summary. I like talking to people and listening to their stories (yours included!), and usually find that the most enjoyable people to be around are those that have an open mind, those who like to laugh and who have a sense of adventure and interest in the world around them. My ideal date? (The one I have with you of course!) Well to me, what makes a date memorable/enjoyable has really a lot more to do with the person I'm with and not so much what you're doing or where you are....and I don't really like the idea of listing off qualities of the kind of person I'd like. I try to keep an open mind, actually. Sure there are some basic qualities I could shoot off like warmth, loyalty, and compassion. But I don't think those qualities are necessarily unique to me...everyone wants someone like that (right?). So I could go into details, but I think that's a part of the fun of getting to know someone new. What do you think? Oh, and for some reason I use lots of parenthesis' in my writing (if you haven't noticed already).
