So, I NEVER thought I'd be on match...but just like a whole bunch of other people, I have friends who have met some really great people on here. So, I figured I'd give it a shot. By no means am I quitting the bar scene, I just don't think that's the best place to connect with someone.
Ummm the first things guys notice when they see me are my sparkling blue eyes and extremely huge...smile. :) haha. I love going out and being social. I could pretty much have a conversation with anyone, and I love making new friends. I can shoot whisky, sip wine, or have a few beers and watch the game. I love to do things without drinking too (I realized I started to sound like a lush! Sorry, but describing yourself like a classified ad is kind of strange.) I've been parasailing, surfing, and kayaking. I LOVE the beach anytime of year. One of my favorite things to do is go down to the water in the winter all snuggled up with a blanket and listen to the waves. I just find it so relaxing and a great way to clear my head.
I was a cheerleader in high school (I still get a hard time about this..) and I played softball in college (it's NOT true what they say about all softball players..don't worry). I still like being active. I go to the gym, but I also like beach volleyball, slowpitch softball, and touch football (tackle might be fun...I can handle it! ;) I'm a baseball and football fan (if you're from NY, don't ask which teams!).
I listen to music, read, and coach a youth team on my free time. I love to travel, too! (go ahead and ask if you want to know more)
I think my closest friend would describe me as honest, loyal, and fun. My family is the most important thing in my world. I have a large extended family too...family dinners and holiday gatherings are the greatest. I am most passionate about having an impact on the people that I come into contact with and learning as much as I can from everyone. I don't understand mean people.
So here's what I'm looking for (again, this is like a job description, I'm sorry!):
Someone who is passionate and strong, yet can also be sensitive and gentle.
Gotta love family time.
Enjoy going out and dancing or staying in by the fireplace.
Intelligent enough to have a conversation, but able to recognize when the mood needs to be lightened (I can be hard on myself and need someone to balance that out with a good laugh)
It would be great if you could fix things that are broken...handymen are totally welcome.
