So you want to know a little bit about me?
I am a very open and honest person and will tell anyone really just about anything they want to know about me. I love to laugh (who doesn't), and can be a smart ass at times, but most of the times I'll just be laughing at little things, including myself. My family is a big part of my life and a reason as to why I came back to Pittsburgh after graduating college so finding someone who is close to their family is a big bonus. I consider myself an affectionate, fun loving, hardworking guy who can really enjoy just about anything I get myself into. It's the people you are with that makes time spent worthwhile.
I've played hockey for the past 18 years including 4 years at Virginia Tech and it is truly the one thing I love. Since I've been back home, I have been involved with coaching a local Varsity team. I originally started coaching just to stay involved in the game, but it has been much more rewarding that I ever thought it could be.
The summer after I graduated I spent riding a bicycle for 63 days across the country for a charity that serves people with disabilities. I continue to cycle and be involved with the same charity as it has allowed me to experience things I never would have otherwise. I wouldn't say it changed my life but it certainly has had a major influence on it. One of the things that summer influenced is it made me want to do is take more weekend trips to random places. I love exploring and finding/experiencing new things whether that is a hole in the wall restaurant, a beer I haven't tried before, or a new activity. Variety is the spice of life, right? Hopefully my partner in crime enjoys going on adventures as well..
My ideal match would be someone that I can laugh and joke around with, yet be able to have meaningful conversations. I want to meet someone who is willing to try new things and will explore around Pittsburgh with me, but will also stay in and enjoy each others company. Someone who is able to take an interest in my interests and vice versa. Most importantly, I'm looking for someone who will bring out the best in me.
