I'm not the type of person that needs to be the center of attention, quiet unless I have something important or insightful to say and drama free. I've been raised on both sides of the Atlantic so I've got a different perspective on things, and an English accent to boot. I'm a pretty active person, and a big believer in a good work/life balance; I've really worked hard to create an maintain the current balance I have which involves me engaging in a stimulating activity almost everyday of the week. Of course sometimes I just like to rest and relax with TV, music, movies, magazines, magazine/books or cooking.
I really like satire, I try to watch as much Colbert Report as I can also I'm always visiting The Onion. I do enjoy a good documentary, independent/foreign films, but I'm not a snob I do go out and selectively watch the big Hollywood blockbusters as well. I crave traveling, and I've visited a lot of western Europe, North America, and some of Asia, I would like to venture further a field with Brazil, Argentina, Australia and South East Asia definitely on my radar. On the occasion that I look to the skies and see a jet soaring above, I get this feeling in the pit of my stomach like that nervous excitement of visiting somewhere new even though I'm not going anywhere, maybe that's something someone out there understands? I spend a lot of my day listening to music, I'm pretty lucky as with my line of work I can spend a lot of time with headphones on. I've got a pretty eclectic taste, but mostly independent artists, at least twice a month I'm out seeing live music.
I'm not looking for someone that has a personality exactly like mine, I'm looking for someone to compliment my personality and vice versa. Obviously we should share similar interests and values, however I pretty adventurous and if you are into something else I'm always willing to give it a try. I'll leave it at that, we can talk about the rest in person.
