My friend Andrea just got engaged to this great guy whom she met online two years ago. Fact is, I've never seen her so completely embracing her life and inspired me to sign up. I;ve done the bar scene and am looking for another avenue besides friends who want to set me up on dates.
This is my try at online dating, and basically in the past I had met people the old fashion way- from work, events, etc. I enjoy outdoor sports, biking (when I was a teenager before private schooling I was a bike messenger), and of course, rock climbing. I went to the University of Virginia for a master's and currently am gainfully employed.
I am looking for new experiences, and a like minded partner in crime. Humility ranks high in my book.
I grew up in Manhattan and rowed crew in college. I currently work at a law firm and am attaining my JD.
I'm looking for an intelligent, optimistic woman with a good heart. Someone whom I could trust fully, whom I could say anything to, and most importantly, someone who would one day become a best friend. I'm focusing a lot on how to be less shy. I'm not really that shy...but I'm awed by people that can just connect with strangers effortlessly.
