I am interested in spending time with fun, open, honest and trustworthy people who are up for just about anything. I am a pretty open-minded person in general. Being aware of how you (we) treat others is very important to me, and I work hard to have good relationships with the people that are close to me . I'm hesitant about the online thingy and am kind of chicken about meeting people, although I'm also not interested in emailing and texting a bunch. I would rather meet early on, to see if we have chemistry.
I have lived many places and have had a lot of interesting experiences. In recent years I have realized that Montana is home and I want to make it work here, so I moved back about 4 years ago. It has been a bit difficult to meet people after having not lived in the area for an extended period of time. I am better one-on-one than in a crowd, and love good conversations and lots of laughter. I have a large family (aunts, uncles and cousins) and am very close with many of them. I like dogs although I travel a lot and haven't felt settled enough to get a dog of my own. I like beagles, although everyone tells me that they bark too much. I like new adventures, but I also like to be a home body some of the time. I love going on drives in the woods, or wherever. I like hot springs. I like to camp and float rivers. I'm not much of a fisher or hunter, but I've done a little of both and I like to learn.
I have traveled a lot, have lived in many places (Darby, Missoula, Eugene, Portland, Zimbabwe, Hawaii, Boston and NYC) and have friends from many places. I've set foot in 49 states. Guess which one I have not been to and you win a trip there! The best place I've been to on vacation is on the beach in Mozambique. Another one of my favorite places to be is up at the yurt in the mountains drinking whiskey with my dad and his friends. I love hearing old-timey stories, and discovering old places from Montana's history. I'm also really interested in learning about different cultures and especially Indigenous cultures.
I'm not sure what else to write on here, and will feel more comfortable writing more in a personal email.
