I am a well-travelled American who has been living and teaching overseas for more than 8 years now. I particularly enjoy living in Dubai because of its sunny weather and all of the international people whom I have met. Dubai's ideal location has enabled me to visit many interesting places such as Kenya, Thailand and Sri Lanka, to name a few.
According to my friends, I am an outgoing, fun person who loves to laugh. I am also very open, honest and reliable, and seek out those qualities in others. I played women's soccer for a number of years, but have recently taken up Bikram Yoga and am enjoying the challenge! I love to try new foods and some of my favorites include Persian, Mexican and Thai. I welcome a night out with friends, especially when it involves dancing and/or karaoke. However, a quiet night in with someone special can be just as appealing.
I am looking for a man with a great sense of humor, who doesn't take himself too seriously. Yet, he can be confident and decisive when it matters. I appreciate a romantic who is also an emotionally-mature communicator. Ideally, he would share my affinity for experiencing new cultures. As a teacher, education is very important to me, as well as having children of my own someday. Therefore, I am searching for man who values these things and strives for success. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is also important to me, so habitual smoking is a deal-breaker, I'm afraid.
