Okay, about me...short version: East Coast edge meets West Coast spirituality. :)
Long version: I am an attractive, professional, educated, compassionate, athletic, 45 year-old. I am also very warm, passionate, and very sincere. I have a very good career, live reasonably well, and yet will always embrace love and humanity over ego and lavishness. I believe that to share positive energy and an emotionally intelligent relationship filled with spirituality with someone is what will greatly enrich my life—and hers.I am currently employed as a federal investigator and am enjoying a successful career. However, I do not neglect other important aspects of my life, such as self- improvement, my spirituality, my loved ones, and quality free time.
I enjoy reading, wine tasting, hiking, yoga, body building, skiing, football, hockey, and volunteer work. I also enjoy going to concerts, events, museums, etc. I would love to travel one day to Hawaii, Mexico, anywhere tropical, and obviously enjoy touring the greater Pittsburgh area! I am originally from Pittsburgh and recently moved back home from the Bay Area after 6 years. I enjoyed learning a great deal and expanding my boundaries while in California, yet I enjoy being home with loving family and dear friends, which to me is most valuable.
I also enjoy exercising and practicing sound health. I love music very much, and enjoy listening to a wide variety of music and musicians, all depending on the mood. I LOVE, LOVE movies, especially those that are thought provoking (e.g., IFC), or any movie as long as it has depth and purpose. I am also a huge animal lover and am attracted to those who feel likewise.
As I hinted earlier, I am in the process of developing a strong spiritual side, and would love to enjoy that aspect with someone special and grow together. I guess you can call me a Zen Christian (lol!), particularly since I eschew dogmatism, rigid ideology, etc. If you are familiar with Wayne Dyer, Eckhart Tolle, Deepak Chopra, Rob Bell, etc., then you will have a pretty good understanding of my perspective. I am very self-aware and emotionally intelligent, and believe these qualities will help me in understanding and appreciating the woman(and people) in my life, especially since lasting relationships take effort, love, and time. Imperfections are what it is to be human and are revealed for anyone or couple experiencing real growth. Yet, I know what I want--and what I do not want. I am sure you do also.
With that being said, I am still a very passionate and healthy man, and believe that a strong physical attraction and mutual passion are necessary qualities--for both men and women--within a relationship. Additional qualities I feel that contribute to a wonderful relationship are loyalty, honesty, and fairness, and unconditional love, which will crystallize an evolving and meaningful relationship.
