I'm the kind of girl who...knows herself, loves the city as much as the quiet moments on the lake, loves to sail, tries to go to as many concerts as possible, listens to music too loud in the car (and sings along most of the time), cries at sappy movies/commercials/tv shows, sometimes over-reacts because of my big heart, loves to debate but can admit when I'm wrong, collects little mermaid snow globes, yells at the TV during games, hates clutter, loves oatmeal, will never accept disrespect, is always on time, eats salad with no lettuce, loves my dog more than anything, will try anything once, is trying to appreciate the moments in between, loves to travel, likes an adventurous spirit when it's balanced with responsibility, develops a crush quickly but falls in love slowly - and so much more. I know it says I live in NJ, but I'm a recent transplant. I grew up in PA and will always claim I live in Philadelphia - I came here for my job to avoid commuting 76 each day. If you've ever done it, I'm sure you can understand.
I literally have the most awesome family possible, and they mean the world to me. I've worked hard to get to this point in my career, and now I'm open to expanding my focus in life from just myself to hopefully include another special someone who makes those rainy days just a bit more bearable. Not in a hurry, but when things fall into place I'll be ready.
Definitely want a guy who is supportive of a confident woman and not afraid to call me on my BS when necessary - I can come off tough sometimes, but making me smile will get you everywhere. Every good relationship, be it friendship or more, starts with respect.
