Hello and thank you for taking the time to check out my profile. :-)
Hmm... where to start... Well, since this seems to be a popular deal breaker with many of you, I should tell you right up front that I recently made a temporary move back in with my family. Don't worry, I'm not some socially awkward dweeb who has never left his mom's basement! LOL! I've been living on my own for the past 8 years or so since my divorce and I simply got tired of renting and wanted to save up some money to buy my own home. My family is very close and we get along great, but it is definitely a strange feeling living under someone else's roof. They are happy to have me there, but I feel like a guest and I'm very anxious to get back out on my own again. However, I made this move for a reason and I'm sticking to my plan. I'm hoping a little sacrifice and patience now will pay off in the long run with a nice home of my own! I just hope it doesn't take too long! LOL!
I work in the Business Development department for a large construction firm in Lancaster, PA. It can be stressful, but it is rewarding and a really good job! I grew up in Mechanicsburg, then went to Millersville University and lived in the Lancaster area for about 15 years. I spent the last 5 years or so living in Hummelstown. I loved it there and I plan on moving back as soon as I can save up some money for a house. However, those plans are not set in stone and could easily change if the right girl would want me to live somewhere else! :-)
I think I'm a pretty well rounded person... sometimes I can be a geek, sometimes a jock, sometimes I'm a redneck! Haha! Over the past year or so, I've been spending a lot of time working out and trying to stay young and fit. I'm probably in better shape now than I ever was in my 20's and I'm very proud of that! I never had any children of my own. That wasn't necessarily my choice, but that's just the way things have worked out for me. I have two young nephews and a new niece! I adore them and spend as much time with the kids as possible!
I have a great job, great friends, and a great family! Overall, life is good! The only thing missing is someone special to share it with.
