Let's see .... I moved into the Arlington about a year ago, after spending the last 6 in Seattle. Leaving life on the West Coast wasn't easy, but it was time to be closer to family. Even after a few short months, I know I made the right decision!
I am constantly challenging myself and am amazed with what the body and mind can accomplish given the right training, discipline and determination. My parents were big advocates of "if you don't like something - change it" and it's a philosophy I've adopted.
I love training for a variety of half/full marathons, as well as long distance and Ironman triathlons. While my man does NOT have to be an Ironman, finding someone who understands the time and dedication needed to complete endurance events is crucial.
I'm looking for someone who is ambitious, loyal, caring, polite, can communicate well, enjoys being playful, but definitely not a player, and confident about who he is and what he's looking for, both in life and a relationship.
Lastly, definitely someone who understands the importance of family .... having lived 3000 miles away from my family for awhile, I have learned how important and amazing they all truly are .. oh and ... all cuddlers are more than welcome to email away :)
But perhaps the most important part of all ... you HAVE to be able to laugh at yourself and find the humor in even the most ridiculous/awkward situations! Don't take yourself too seriously ... it's not an attractive quality!
I think everyone is looking for the same thing ... I'm just looking for the person who compliments me and my life and vice versa. Pretty simple when you think about!
