Hmmm, a little about me.... I AM FUNNY. :-) And fun, smart, confident, athletic, low maintenance, dynamic, passionate, driven, honest and down to earth. Do I need to go on? (i'm wondering if I should stalk some women on here and see if they all say the same thing) Things I am NOT: Crazy(i also don't associate w/ those types of chicks that are crazy), moody, high maintenance, bitchy, lazy, shop-a-holic or have an eating disorder.
I have a sarcastic sense of humor (my mum is british) and I tend to make people laugh - I try to not take life too seriously - what's the point. I love to write and recently learned that this is a skill that I never really knew I had. Reading has become a passion of mine and I'm bummed that I didn't know this earlier in life because now I have a ton of classics to catch up on. I love a good movie but hate the overdone, over dramatic, Hollywood cliche. New York is where my heart is. I've always felt a draw to the city. I love the culture and all that it has to offer - amazing food (I've been referred to as a 'skinny pig' because I LOVE to eat), great wine, awesome music and incredible energy.
I also love the mountains and all that they have to offer - serenity, fresh air, natural beauty. I love all things outdoors but my one of my biggest passions in life (aside from my kids) is skiing. I don't think I can be with someone that doesn't ski but don't let that deter you. I've learned that compromising is important in relationships. ;-) I work out 3-4 days a week and keep myself in shape - not too shabby for almost 40 - but you can be the judge.
Although a night on the couch with an amazing bottle of wine, good music or a great book sounds lovely, I'm also the first one up on the dance floor ready to get my groove on. I love music(all kinds) and love to dance - any kind of dancing will do - ballroom, club, on top of the bar (LOL) - just not on a pole.
This is getting lengthy but if you want to know what i'm looking for: honest, smart, fun, funny, laid back, athletic and a family man. Someone that gets gratification out of making other people happy or seeing them happy. Someone that understands that even though a woman might be successful and smart, CHIVALRY isn't dead.
