I am a goal-oriented procrastinator.
I lived in South Carolina for most of my life and am eager to move to a big city - Boston, Atlanta, Portland. My dream would be to move to England.
I went to college in Charleston, moved home, and then moved back here in March. Most of my friends have moved back home, across the country, so I feel like I am essentially starting over.
I love to watch old and new movies. My favorite is "Singin' In the Rain," and I listen to the soundtrack on a regular basis.
I also love "Doctor Who." And all other things British.
Books are also a big part of my life. I worked for a bookstore for three years, off and on between semesters and after college. Favorite author is Kurt Vonnegut, closely followed by Jo Nesbo. I hate "The Scarlet Letter," and I work for a self-publishing company now.
I am not particularly outdoorsy, but have always wanted to be more so. I brought my dog down to Charleston a while ago and I take him for walks every morning and evening as well as the dog park and trails on my days off.
As far as sports go, I'm completely useless when it comes to coordination but I enjoy watching and learning about sports. I am currently most interested in soccer. Mainly because of the British.
I studied in Nottingham, England for three months while in college and have been aching to go back ever since.
As far as who I am looking for - I am pretty open-minded but in general, I am looking for someone who shares my interests but can also try new things and teach me as well. I haven't really ever been interested in dating before, but at 23 and out of college, I find that I have a lot of spare time on my hands. I'm just looking for someone who is enjoyable to spend that time with. And likes dogs.
