As I wrote in the headline, my profession is doctor but my character is more of a free spirit. I am a Pediatric Dentist. I love working with the kids and feel very fortunate. On the other hand, I love free time and have many hobbies and interests. Ah!!! the search for balance.
I work part-time for Mammoth Hospital. I love the mountains, the snow, and the wilderness. I also love surfing, the beach, and really...the ocean. As a result, I moved down to Encinitas more than 6 years ago.
I grew up in Pennsylvania. I went to Boston University and then to San Francisco for dental school. (Yes, I dig cities, too). In between, I managed to live in Santiago, Chile and Mammoth. I lived the "ski bum" dream for a little while.
My friends and family are very important to me. A lot of my travel, now, is visiting friends and family. Make no mistake, however, I still have much interest in the "adventurous and exotic".
When it comes to true personality, most people would say that I'm very casual and laid back. Those who know me deeply, might suggest that I am a bit less laid back than what appears on the surface. For sure, people think that I can talk to anybody.
So, who would I like to meet? I hope for someone well rounded. I would love to meet someone who is up for adventures to the mountains, the beach, also road trips, cultural travel and even camping and music festivals. At the same time, I need someone who understands the challenges and responsibilities of being a doctor.
I wish for someone with a big heart. I am close to my family and have friends I've known for decades. Honesty and loyalty are key to me.
Well, there it is. Let's see what happens.
