My name is Dustin. Age 24. Live in a small town; have big dreams. I have my own small business and I hate the idea of a caste system. I'm unique. Some call me weird in the things I do and enjoy. What do I "do and enjoy"? Lots of things. Some of them could be considered strange. What are my beliefs? Well I don't mold well with modern society, let me just say that. Just ask and ye shall receive.
I'm a romantic. I believe in holding doors, buying gifts when it isn't some kind of special occasion, candlelit dinners, nights gazing at the stars - things that get me called a "good friend" by 99% of the girls I've come to know over the course or my life. I'm a good person to confide in because when it comes to keeping secrets and being impartial - I'm the best referee.
I'm genuine "friend zone" material, and after all, that is what I am looking for. A best friend. A partner in crime. A companion. Nothing more, nothing less - and where it goes from there, well, whatever fate has in store.
Life is an adventure and I'm looking for a travel companion, a general in my revolution, a Buttercup to my Westley. Perhaps here I shall find it.
Disclaimer: I'm pretty much a geek/nerd, whatever you want to call it. I always have been, I always will be. The fact is, most people are, just most won't admit it. There is no difference between playing video games or Dungeons and Dragons or being obsessed with your fantasy sports leagues.
Not all of the stuff I do is nerdy, and I don't spend all my time playing video games and not having a life. I don't like to enforce such negative stereotypes.
When it comes to what I am looking for I don't have list of things I want. If I did, I would be taking all the fun out of the spontaneity of life. I can say a few things that are deal breakers that I don't want in a match.
-Materialistic people. If you consider your cell phone an object you could never ever live without, then we would probably not see eye to eye. We all love stuff, but there is a limit when "stuff" consumes our life.
-Closed minded people. I am open to all views in life and I don't take racism, bigotry, or hate very kindly for any unjust reason.
-Religion converters. I have views on religion that I have discovered over 10 years of individual research and self discovery. I will respect any religious affiliation if you respect mine.
