Well-this online technique is out of my comfort zone, but I don't really do the club/hang out thing - so here goes...!!! I am an easy-going, honest, confident, caring, fiercely loyal, down-to-earth, "southern girl" that loves to meet new people. I love to laugh and enjoy down time with those I care about. I love a relaxing evening and to cook meals of various ethnic cuisines. (I love Indian and Thai food - and of course good down home soul food is always a winner!!!) I love to cook for loved ones. I enjoy a good movie, art exhibits, cultural events, the performing arts, and I love to travel to almost any end of the world when given the opportunity. I love to relax and watch The Discovery Channel, History Channel, The Food Network, and yes, I am guilty - but I love reality shows and True TV - that stuff cracks me up. I love to read. I am a big proponent of education. I am always seeking to learn and experience new things and to live life to the fullest. I am very ambitious, driven, and goal-oriented. I greatly believe in the union of family and I love children. I'm very comfortable with myself. I love to joke and have fun. I have a demanding career; I feel it important to be able to let my guard down and let loose with that special someone after the long demands of work each day. With that said, I believe in taking care of business, but I also love to joke around and be playful. :-)
I'd love to meet a man that has similar interests and background, who has interesting conversation. I love to hear a good story and share a good laugh!!! This person is loving and a gentleman and strives to grow on an individual level as well as within a partnership and understands what it means to be committed. He understands the importance of communication in any relationship as well as what it means to reciprocate on every level. This person will also have to be confident (yet not self-absorbed/selfish), supportive, and family-oriented with goals of his own, and understand mine. He will understand the importance of working together as a unit. I have to be able to trust in his judgment and know that he operates at an acute level of discernment, such that I believe in him and never have to question his motives or logic - I will just roll with whatever he has decided is best for our union and trust in him, even if it's a move to Timbuktu! I'll grab our bags and be ready to roll out because I'll know he made a decision based on what is best for US. That's the type of man that I seek. :-) He will be my friend above all else. I'm not a flashy person, therefore I'm not looking for a man who is materialistic or whose values and priorities are not in the right place. Don't get me wrong - I love nice things like anyone, and love to look nice and strive and work for those things that I desire, but remembering what's important in life and keeping that in perspective is always the most important.
