Where to start??? This should not be nearly this difficult. Couldn't they put statements in a drop down menu and have us choose from those?
Since you're here though, I guess you want to know a little about me, so here goes...
I have all my teeth. I wear shoes (most of the time). I am NOT bat $#!? crazy. I don't snort when I laugh OR snore when I'm sleeping. I use correct verb tenses and have to bite my tongue to correct those that don't. I can easily differentiate between there, their, and they're but still get caught up on effect and affect. I love roller coasters but if I ride too many too quickly I throw up (been there, done that, but puked and rallied so it was all good. TMI??)
So none of that would have been available in the drop down menus I'm sure, so here comes the typical profile BS...
I am a very happy person-happy with my life, happy with great friends and family, happy with my job, happy with my home. I'd just like to find someone to share all those things with. Note it says I would" like to"...not "need".
I enjoy a wide variety of things and am as comfortable in a little black dress as I am in jeans and a sweatshirt.
I coach volleyball and enjoy watching just about any sport, preferably live, and am partial to college football and basketball.
I teach middle school science and absolutely love my job. Love teaching middle schoolers you say?? I am not crazy, I swear :) It's just that every day is different and you have to fly by the seat of your pants because you never know what the kids are going to throw your way at any given moment. Plus there's always June, July August...
I am very capable of laughing at myself and hope you are too! A great sense of humor goes a long way. I am very loyal to my friends and family and again hope you are too. Which means that I understand when plans change because one of them needs to go grab a beer and vent or have you come move furniture!!
I smile a lot and enjoy making the people around me smile too.
I love to travel and have been lucky to get to see some amazing places, but there are many more on the list that I'd like to see.
So that all sounds great huh? If I'm so happy and so easy to get along with, then why am I single you ask? Me too!! No really, I have been in committed relationships but just don't want to settle for just any guy. A friend once told me "I'd rather be alone for the right reasons than in a relationship for the wrong ones" and it kind of stuck with me. I'm also not perfect either...I wear my heart on my sleeve which allows me to laugh a lot but I cry sometimes too-find me a girl that says she doesn't and you've just found a bold faced liar! I am sarcastic and stubborn and ridiculous at times, but I can honestly say that I won't lie to you, I won't play games with you, and I won't cheat on you.
Enough about me!!!
So what about you? If you are perfect you will be genuine, caring, funny, compassionate, honest, able to laugh at yourself, willing to tell me when I'm being ridiculous and able to accept the same from me, spontaneous and at least a little bit athletic. You will be passionate about something-your job, your family, a pet, a certain hobby, it doesn't really matter, just passionate about something. You enjoy a night on the town but are just as comfortable with a night in. Kids and dogs will like you- both are amazing judges of character. I don't have any kids but my dog is part pit bull so if he doesn't like you you're in trouble. Honestly, he may just lick you to death. You will smile a lot.You will still be reading this and be intrigued enough to contact me :)
