I am the very lucky dad of an awesome six-year-old daughter, the proud owner of a handsome and mellow Labrador retriever, and a recently returned big-firm lawyer.
I grew up in the suburbs of Syracuse, New York, and went to college and law school back East. I moved to the Bay Area from Manhattan in ’96, and I’ve pretty much felt like I’ve been on vacation every day since. I love it here.
My favorite times are spent cooking, eating, and talking with friends. A great hike in a forest or a day playing at the beach can make my whole week. I collect books about things that grab me: I’ve got shelves full about sailboat racing, house design, blues guitar, and straight pool.
I like people who are quick and clever, people who are calmly confident, and people who can take their passions really seriously without taking themselves really seriously.
