Hi there! I am originally from NJ but have lived in Maryland for the past decade or so. For the past several years, I have worked towards finding a balance between work and a social life. I think it's important to have more than just work in your life--I am a big fan of working hard and playing hard. I do live in Laurel but work in Montgomery County and am frequently near the DC area as well.
I am happy and fulfilled in my life, but am definitely looking for my partner in crime. I am looking for a person who is honest, articulate, intelligent, and a communicator--someone who knows what they want, wants to go the distance with the right person, and is excited about the possibilities...Honesty and trust are key to a relationship and are the most important qualities to me. Without it, there is no relationship.
Some more facts about me: I have kept up with my studies in Spanish and am fairly fluent. I am one of those people who knew what they wanted to do from a young age. I am happy and fulfilled with my work as a Speech/Language Pathologist. I work with children who primarily speak English as a second language and I love the multi-culturalism of my job. I am lucky enough to love going to work everyday!
About two years ago, I discovered a passion for fitness. It started off with just working with a personal trainer, but... before I knew it, I realized how much I truly enjoy working out, getting toned, and working with a motivating group of people. I do an early morning boot camp several times a week and actually enjoy lifting --and it's a great way to start off my day. It feels great to set new goals and achieve them. I relate best to people who are active and consider fitness a part of their life.
I am very musical - I have been playing piano and singing most of my life. I was very involved in theater in high school but now the most I perform is at a karaoke bar! I am also fond of eclectic coffeehouses and museums. I love to dance and go out and have a good time. I am a huge fan of music and love live music performances.
I am most passionate about doing things that enrich my life and the lives of others. I believe that everyday can be spent learning new things, from reading a book on a topic you enjoy, to finding out something new about a person you care about. Life is short... and we should never stop becoming who we're meant to be.
