As a child I spent months at a time in the San Bernardino Mountains where my mother was a camp nurse for many years. Spending hours on end trekking through the hills was a wonderful moment of my child hood. I have seen many things in the hills and herd many stories of which have made me a person of reflection. I learned many things about direction and how to listen from the Mountains.
Living in San Bernardino could have been a very trying time if I didn’t grow up in a Christian household. I never attended a public school; I was enrolled in privet Christian schools up until 6th grade where I then was home schooled till I graduated High school.
I have had a desire to serve in the Army for most of my life because of my family’s military history. I also know I had to continue my families education accomplishments for latter generations to benefited from my families success. After graduating from Valley College in 2007 I decided that now is the time to start thinking about how to join the Military and still finish my college education; knowing full well that if I stopped my education I would never return. I was looking for that road that would lead me to my goals. I enlisted in the Army Reserves May 30th 2007. When I returned from training I then joined the Army ROTC at CSUSB. I do have a desire to be a leader that will have earned respect from his men and not just demand it. I successfully graduated ROTC and CSUSB March of 2011.
I desire someone with goals and has the drive to accomplish them. I love to listen and I am kind and compassionate.
