Hakuna matata, I try to live by the motto of no worries. I enjoy smiling and laughing and believe the glass is half full. I have a great sense of humor, a quick wit and enjoy this trait in others. I have a very dynamic, or contradictory, personality which may keep you guessing about me unless you share a similar personality. For example, I am outgoing but introverted at the same time. Some would say I just can't make up my mind but it is really that I just love most everything. Life is amazing and beautiful and everything can be magical in the right moment/situation/lighting.
I love cooking and food( I know how to make Indian food best but am always experimenting, especially when I have dinner parties which I know is the worst time to do such but I guess I'm just over confident in my skills or not worried about bad reviews :-) ), and am an excellant baker and jam maker. I'm surprised that there is nothing on here asking people if they are veggies or carnivores, well I am both. I looooove meat but would pick eating mostly vegetarian 5 days of the week. I like men who are adventurous cooks and eaters, no meat and potatoes guys, sorry. I love to garden and to go fruitpicking. I try to be an environmentalist but I'm no saint (I do get sad when I have to throw something away instead of recycling it, it's a total bummer), I like deoderant too much and driving, love driving my Prius... I would really like to take more road trips, listen to great music, talk, eat local food and explore new places.
One of my passions is music. I am not creative musically but love all kinds, seriously, all kinds of music - recent trip to bestbuy: Kimbra, The Darkness, Ellie Goulding, Kid Cudi and Little Big Town. I listen to the softest and the hardest rock, the oldest and the newest. I do really love modern/alterna/heavy rock music and dance music, I think it's cause it makes me feel young. I enjoy movies, plays, ballets, concerts, local bands, going dancing (love dancing to hip hop, salsa, ballroom, whatever!), local wineries, parks, checking out farmers markets, flea and antique markets too. And of course anything having to do with art or gardens.
I have a modern yet retro sense of style. I wear sneakers with lilac ribbon laces with white polka dots and my toes are painted like a rainbow of skittles, the tropical ones I think??? I love to wear skirts and would wear heels everyday but that part of my life is over, flats it is most of the time :-( I wear my hair in buns and pigtails a lot and people generally think I'm 24.I'm not trying to look childish, I'm just young at heart and keepin' it real. I like to feel cute and comfy in what I wear but absolutely love having a reason to dress up, I love sexy black dresses and heels.
I work as an artist assistant and in an art gallery in midtown. Yes, I get paid to weave all day, funny enough. I am a textile artist and I like to sew and do anything creative. I usually come home everyday covered in yarn fuzz, and then get coated in cat hair. I have three cats, all rescues, hey they needed homes :-) right? You can't wear black pants to my apt, either can I.
I'm sure there is more I can say but can't think of anything else at the moment. Oh yeah, if I could have anything in the world you know what it would be??
