THE WHY?:
I joined this site; because, my previously hectic work schedule left me no time for romance. My girlfriends also repeatedly told me that this would be the only way to actually meet & greet a nice guy, lol. I've recently begun a less time-intensive work schedule. So, now, I'm mostly curious as to the ways in which online dating can renew some of the finer, old-fashioned characteristics ..e.g., developing a friendship first.. of dating someone--if albeit a new technology.
And, of course, I'm hoping to meet a great man.
Note: I'm NOT on Match.com in search of a sexcapade, nor am I expecting some sort of INSTANT relationship--outside of friendship. I'm, however, seeking friendship leading to romance and the good that may come from them. Also, the only games I'm OK with playing through this site are those involving START buttons and sound effects. So, please keep things considerate. Thank you.
WHO I AM:
An artistic analyst: I'm open to seeing things in different ways. I'm constantly creatively expressing myself--the sometimes goofy and purposely comedic, creative, even-tempered, geeky intellectual, unique--I hope--me.
It seems contradictory to name myself as "humble," so.. let's say I aim for a "simple elegance."
Loyal. Supportive. Martyr-complex. Been hurt enough.
"Trekkie" over "Jedi."
Recklessly cautious: I check both ways before crossing a 1-way street. But, I have a penchant for spontaneity. And, when I get restless, I'm up for almost anything interesting ..legal, of course.
Sometimes introverted but often empathetic: I try to be as kind, considerate and understanding as I can. I'm trying to share and synthesize as much joy, and righteousness as I can in my own life and the lives of persons I seem meant to encounter.
Only shy to those who don't know me or who I've yet to greet or who turn me off. Driven and very goal-oriented when called to a purpose.
Ever-growing, Ever-evolving: I'm not closed to constructiveness.
Sweet-toothed, spicy food lover!
A continual learner; I'm actively engaging the process of deciphering my calling/ purpose in life. My passions and ultimate profession follow suit. What I learn along the way, I cannot help but relay--an automatic teacher.
A happy muse: I'll probably have an effect on you. I hope it's a great one!
WHO I SEEK:
Old soul, strong and good heart. You're both conscientious and comedic. You'll make me smile and share our light. You're for righteousness. You're open to good and direct ..not to be confused with blunt, but to be equated with easily-recognizable.. communication. You're a romantic, and proudly so. You'll write me love songs or poems or paint me expressions of beauty or be otherwise open to expressing your affection. You're energetic, but more of a home-body than a club-hopper. You're a man's man, when I need you to hold me. You're strong enough to let me hold you. You take care of your body--even if you're not a body-builder or Calvin Klein underwear model. You respect me and my body. You have a great sense of humor. You appreciate a sense of independence in a woman. And, although I in no way mind being treated well: Sugar Daddies need not apply! You are open-minded. You're creative, and adventurous, and willing to travel and to grow with me in ways. You're an intellectual--always learning something or trying something new or open to improving yourself in your own ways. Nerds Welcome!
