Who am I?
I'm a 33-year-old Aries. I have brown hair and hazel eyes. I drive a Versa. I work in a microbiology lab. I'm relatively fit and in pretty good shape. I live alone. I have a bird and a cat. I like the SyFy channel and listen to Morcheeba and A Perfect Circle and Bach.
But is that who I am?
I love to laugh, and to make people laugh.
I have a quirky, sometimes sharp, sense of humor.
I'm a lover, not a fighter, as cliche as that is.
I care about people, sometimes more than I think I should.
I'm kinda geeky sometimes.
I love to talk, almost as much as I love to listen.
I can keep up my end of most conversations, and sometimes other people's ends as well.
I'm smart; sometimes I'm too smart for my own good.
I'm a little shy sometimes, but passionate.
I like to cook, but I love to cook for two.
I can be a be a bit of an egotist, but I have a sense of humor about it, and about myself, and about life.
Is that me? Maybe small fragments. But nothing is a substitute for actually meeting me, I think.
What am I looking for?
Someone smart enough to challenge me.
Someone strong enough to keep me on my toes.
Someone who can keep me interested.
Someone with a good enough sense of humor not to take me too seriously.
Someone relaxed enough to accept my idiosyncrasies.
Someone open-minded enough to appreciate my geekiness.
Someone I can trust.
And someone who wants those things from me.
Not too much to ask, I think . . .
