Where does anyone begin when answering the question, " Tell us about you! " I think a lot of people get caught up wondering what to say, how to make it catchy, simple, sophisticated, funny, intelligent, direct yet detailed...until perhaps we begin to lose ourselves in wondering what other people want to hear.
I can tell you anything you want to hear, and I can be anyone you want me to be...but then, you wouldn't be falling in love with me...you'd be falling in love with you. Lord knows, there are enough people out there in love with themselves! LOL Variety is the spice of life--if you make a pot of soup using only one ingredient, you haven't made anything except more of the same.
My friends would call me the funny girl, loyal, determined, honest, hilariously random. I'm an unabashed addict of Starbucks, without the snooty caramel latte attitude. I hate the cold, but I love playing in the snow (proof that women are truly contrary--I'm not afraid to say it!) I'm laid back and amusingly intense all at the same time. I like dogs and good beer with great friends.
My people are all over the place. From the North to the South, I'm blessed with dozens of friends. (Sadly, I left my best friend in Texas. We were a force to be reckoned with--me from Cleveland, her from NY--and both of us stuck in the South, hahaha!)
I recently came back to NE Ohio after nearly a year and a half in the South. It's good to be home again. Life moves at the speed of light--I'm not trying to keep up. I'd rather enjoy having a quality life rather than trying to encompass everything.
You: Please have your act together. I don't expect the world from you, but I do expect that you know what you want.
Impress me, just a little. I'm not demanding and I believe in a guy having their independence. But it's still sweet to know a guy is willing to work for his lady, even if it just means stopping by to say hello.
Be you. That's all you have at the end of the day. I can't fall for someone who doesn't exist. Be honest; The ugliest truth is still better than the prettiest lie.
I think that every great relationship begins with a good friendship. I'm excited to find out who's out there and what's in store for us!
