About Me: Ok, this is tough to do. Let’s start with likes. I like anything outdoors, sushi, drinks with friends, concerts, going out, staying in, Cooking (more on that later), dogs, dog owners, The water (beach – lake- river), surfing, snowboarding, boating, golf, tennis, fishing, riding with the top down, checking out new restaurants/wine tastings, going to the mountains, traveling, and lots more.
I am upbeat, fun, funny, have a ‘can do’ attitude. My career fits my personality. I have been riding on a fire truck for 17 years. I am literally a professional problem solver.
I used to own/operate a construction company for over ten years. I can build or fix anything. My current project (at my home) is adding an 8 foot by 17 foot walk in closet with floor to ceiling handmade cabinets. Almost done.
In 2007 I was able to attend culinary school full time. I graduated as a Chef and a Pastry Chef. I worked as a culinary instructor for four years and worked with the Food Network teaching their Hands on classes here in Atlanta. Now I mostly do private chef work when I am not riding on the big red truck.
I love to travel, some of my favorites are Italy, Hawaii, Germany, and Antigua
About You: Not too many specifics here. I get along with many types of people, anyone with a positive attitude who can have fun anywhere. I prefer a nonsmoker. Kids are not an issue, in fact kids love me. I have been teaching fire safety in the schools for years. Second and fourth grade a lot. But my specialty is kindergarten! I am a rock star in kindergarten. My chief says it is because I think on their level.
