I consider myself to be a driven individual. I love life and I believe a positive outlook is how you can make the most of it. My philosophy in life is to have no regrets. You can only learn from your mistakes, but wondering "what if" doesn't change a thing. I love having fun and I feel laughter can cure almost anything. I can be very sarcastic at times. The way I see it, If you can't joke about yourself, what can you joke about?
I like to do a mix of many different things, just like everyone else on this site it seems. I can be a home body, hanging out in my PJs watching Netflix, reading, working on a jigsaw puzzle, or playing around on my computer. I also like to get dressed up to go out for dinner and/or drinks, as well as going to the movies or theater. I like hiking and indoor rock climbing (haven't tried outdoors yet). And I'm always down to go to a Giants game in San Francisco. I'm pretty much up for anything, as long as it sounds fun.
I want someone who can keep up with my fast paced moments and is willing to chill out with my slow ones. I am not looking to spend 24/7 together. Spending too much time with each other can lead to neglect in other aspects of life. I think it is healthy to hang out with one's friends or spend some time alone, or even have your own hobbies. On the opposite side of the spectrum, however, once I am in a relationship, I expect to be included in someone's life and to spend more than one evening a week with them. Lastly, I think it is important to spend time just one-on-one, as well as doing group activities with friends/family. It really is all about a healthy balance and a happy medium is my goal. I've been on both sides of this and neither one was satisfactory.
I also look for someone with a healthy lifestyle helps. I don't expect you to be in peak physical shape, but just an awareness and effort to stay healthy is a must. I don't always eat right and I don't exercise daily, but I try to be aware of what I am doing and I'd love for it to be a mutual effort. If you like to run or play random sports (kickball, frisbee golf, dodgeball, etc), even better.
I don't expect to always agree and actually look forward to a little debating or agreeing to disagree. My ideal match would have future goals and be motivated to do something with his life. I am working on my goals and I don't want anyone who will drag me down.
