I'm a gentleman and scholar (ha ha) and would like to meet a classy lady to have dinner or see a movie or talk over drinks. I like to try new things but also love the reliable classics. I'm a bit of an intellectual guy so I tend to like cerebral movies and heady conversation, though in moderation. I have a rather eclectic taste in music (from classical to hip hop to punk, etc). I read. I'm pretty much open to meeting anyone who's willing to meet me. I think things like shared taste in music, movies, political beliefs, or any other "preferences" necessitate a good friendship.
