I'm a 28 year old single mom. I put that out there first and foremost because it's so important to me. My daughter is almost 2 years old and is the sweetest and most amazing being in my life. I decided to join Match to broaden my horizons as it's been difficult to get into the dating scene with a little one and meeting people at bars is something I was over years ago. Plus, I just moved to SC! I can now scratch raising my baby girl near the beach off my bucket list!
I am a freelance portrait photographer. I love, love, love photography! It is truly my passion and I'm working towards eventually owning an amazing studio of my own. I love getting to know people and pulling them out of their shells and into a comfort zone. It's a very rewarding challenge. I also love that even after 3 years of professionally shooting, I still get butterflies right before a session, I feel like the day that all goes away, my love for my passion will be diminishing. I feel the same way about relationships. I want to be 60 and still get weak in the knees when the love of my life walks into the room. Yeah, that's the romantic in me!
I would describe myself as super laid back with a good sense of humor. I like to take the days as they come and try not to stress too much. I can't stand drama or overly dramatic people. I'm very confident but not in a loud, cocky way. I'm very quiet in new situations, but it's how I observe my surroundings. I am extremely driven and my sense of pride sometimes gets me in my own way. I'm not good at asking for help...but I am working on it. I believe that a life without obtainable goals is under-lived.
I love to cook and bake. The kitchen brings peace to my soul. The Italian in me loves to make others smile through food. It's very fulfilling to me. Good company, good wine, and good food can make my day. Snuggling on the couch with a movie completes it. I'm a major snugger!
I am healed through the sound of waves, the warmth of sun against my body and sand between my toes. There is no place on earth I enjoy more than the beach!
I love a good, intelligent conversation. Communication is key in relationships. I am most often the listener more than the speaker. On the flip side to that, I truly believe that actions speak louder than words. I am very big on trust, respect and honesty. Without those three things, in any relationship (love or friendship), you have nothing.
I want to travel to a zillion places! Different cultures intrigue me. I love learning and discovering new things.
