Here's my story: I smile and laugh easily, I tend to be a nature lover, and I don't really understand the concept of shopping as a hobby. I'd rather be outside, or at a museum or even going to the zoo.
I have a circle of amazing people that are my friends, and we stay pretty busy. Still, I am open to making new friends, and I am ready to begin the search for a warm, passionate, kind man with a sense of humor and a sense of adventure. I also have two wonderful grown children, both on their own with successful careers.
I love a wonderful dinner out or cooking with friends at home, and enjoy all types of foods. I love getting dressed up and feeling really beautiful now and then, but for the most part I’m a tee and jeans girl.
A glass of red wine, some live music and great conversation with friends is my favorite type of evening. I love music, and I enjoy all types, from rock to the occasional symphony. I also have a touch of wanderlust, and getting away is something I love.
Now for a little about you…..
I would love to find someone who is the adventurous sort, a man with a warm heart who wants to hold my hand. I appreciate the diversity in people and would expect the same in a match. I have a slightly irreverent sense of humor and don’t believe in being offended easily, as long as we are staying within a “do unto others” framework. I am a responsible person, but I believe a certain amount of silliness has restorative powers.
I am open to friendship and someone to do things with. If more happens to develop, we are in "bonus" territory! If you think we match up, give me a shout.
(I think the best first date is more of a “meet and greet” type thing. An hour over coffee or a glass of wine….no pressure.)
