I am passionate about my life and work and have always lived my life by my gut. I have achieved professional success but really want to focus on my personal life. I laugh a lot, like to talk, value good communication, go to a lot of movies (impactful indie films are favorites), enjoy riding my bike or a good hike, and hanging out at home. I am very down-to-earth, non-materialistic, and love to travel. I've had the good fortune to travel all over the world, but enjoy revisiting my favorite spots (Italy, Bali, Ireland come to mind). In the interest of full disclosure, I've listed myself as 49 though I'm 51--I'm pretty youthful in appearance and outlook and didn't want to be cutoff by the 50 line.
I'm happy to say that I've still managed to maintain my romantic nature. I can get choked up at a good love story (especially a clever romantic comedy-thought This is 40 was pretty good, and Silver Linings Playbook was my favorite movie of the year). I still believe you can find your best friend, confidante and heartmate all in one.
Looking for someone down-to-earth, who enjoys wearing jeans and a t-shirt (or equivalent casual dress) but can also dress up for a nice night out. Someone who values consideration, romance, intelligence and humor. Someone who likes to laugh, enjoys offbeat films, and likes to travel.
