I love my family and friends and I have been blessed with a large family and many close friends! They would describe me as pretty damn funny, loyal and independent. I am no angel and I have seen and done many things of which I am not proud, but I can't change it so i don't dwell on it. There are also quite a few things I am very proud to have accomplished including school, work and volunteer related activities. I quit drinking two years ago and am grateful to have an opportunity to help other people with the same addiction and am very active with that cause.
I am hoping to attract Larry David, but I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen. If I can't attract Larry David, I want a timid yet equally talented version of Lil' Wayne. Anyone??
I am constantly moving around due to work and social/volunteering obligations. I bought a new car in May, 2011 and it currently has 20,000 miles. Thankfully it is diesel and you may confuse me for a mother of three due to the station wagon frame.
I am looking for someone who is laid back yet ambitious. Personality is a must! I would prefer someone who values family relationships and puts their family ahead of anything else. Without my family, I don't know where I would be today and I quite frankly don't want to know!
I am going back to school full time this semester for Clinical Mental Health Counseling and will someday have a holistic health clinic focusing on the mind-body connection. My ideal clinic would be a non-profit, as I believe offering yoga,massage, and other therapies promoting health to those who are indigent or less fortunate would be the most intrinsically rewarding thing I've ever taken part of.
I am very fit, although i contribute it more to genetics than a stringent workout routine. I enjoy yoga and walking uphill because I've taken a completely rational stance that running is bad for my joints. I am signed up to do the Tough Mudder competition in April, so my short term goals are to quit smoking and train, train, train!
Socializing and remaining busy is part of my life. There are so many things that I have yet to accomplish and experience and would love to share with someone who is willing to try anything worthwhile!
As my mom says, "Life is a glorious struggle", but it sure is fun!
