I have an advanced degree and have had a long and successful career as a public policy analyst and professor. I am hardly an intellectual, however. I love to laugh and be silly. I also enjoy sports immensely and am something of a fitness buff. I like exposure to new experiences and can appreciate a partner for what she has in common with me but also for what she can teach me. So, I am not looking for my long lost fraternal twin. I am not interested in a high maintenance relationship. I thrive when I can have my own space and interests, and would hope that my partner could maintain self esteem from external sources, including her own career and independent set of social contacts. I respect people who set realistic goals and try to achieve them, but are resilient in the face of life's little failures. Spontaneity is also important (especially when it comes to romance). Sometimes ya just gotta go with the flow. My ideal partner is physically fit, intelligent, and has a sense of humor. I'd like to define my mate in more detail, but sometimes something just clicks. When and if it happens, we'll know it.
