A little about me: I grew up in western NY state and moved to philly for college in 1998, fell in love with the city and never looked back. After seven years working in financial services, I went back to school to become a nurse and now I work in a center city hospital. I work three 12-hour shifts a week which can be tiring but leaves me with four days per week of free time, so yay! In that free time, I am taking classes towards a MSN in nursing (I'm gonna be a nurse practioner), walking my dog, running along the towpath, reading (prob not as much as I should), watching tv (prob more than I should), spending time with friends and just generally enjoying life. I'm spontaneous, love surprises, weekend getaways, and will try mostly anything once.
I'm looking for a long-term relationship with someone warm, open, kind and funny, who doesn't take themselves too seriously. Good communication is important. I've learned that someone who enjoys their career and has professional goals is important to me. I believe there is a balance between living life and appreciating what you have, while also keeping an eye on the future and on your dreams and goals.
Mostly though, I'm looking for a best friend and partner to spend my life with, someone to laugh with, grow with and someone who will push me to be the best I can be.
