I recently moved to the South Bay area from New Hampshire for a teaching position. I love to be outdoors, especially hiking and camping, and I always enjoy a day at the beach. I'm a total nerd and love to learn new things, and as a result, I'm a pretty good listener (and trivia teammate). I laugh often, equally tickled by Dumb and Dumber, Shakespearean comedies, and the ridiculous things my students say. I'm a passionate person, and that carries over into just about everything I do, from friendships to work to singing alone in my car. I care about my friends and family more than anything, and I would almost always prefer to be around people than alone. I am more spontaneous and adventurous when I have a partner in crime and someone to reminisce with.
I'm looking for someone who will go with me to the Tech Museum, a Sharks game, or up to SF for a night. Someone who I can laugh with until my sides hurt. Someone who will stay in with a beer and an episode of Parks and Recreation now and then. Someone who will wake up one morning, pack a backpack with extra socks and Cliff bars, and climb a mountain with me. Someone who will read a book I love and talk about it over a cocktail. I'm looking for a great friend.
