I have been described as a sweetheart, sarcastic, a wordsmith, fiercely loyal, and extremely loving among other things. I love laughing and having a good time always, yoga, good food and drinks, cooking, the beach and the ocean, and my friends and family. Definitely looking for someone who loves to have a good time but who can also appreciate the more serious side of things. Like most people, I do enjoy going out to the (non-pretentious) bars but also staying in with a bottle (or two or three) of wine. Love being active and trying to take advantage of everything the city has to offer. I can be fiercely competitive, but in the best way possible! It runs in my family, which can be seen during our yearly July 4th whiffle ball tournament or marathon Scrabble sessions. I have one older brother and most of my cousins who we were raised with are guys; thankfully my mom brought me up to be a girly girl but I love having some beers at a Jets game and during the fall we tailgate with our extended family and friends and always have the best time.
I am really not going to get too specific in what I am looking for because I'm not really sure myself. Definitely someone who values their relationships with their family and friends, and who is looking for the type of relationship that is eventually going to build towards a future together. Politeness and good manners are very important (and weirdly attractive). Someone who likes to be active and is not a couch potato, who likes to get out there and explore on a Saturday morning (sleeping in occasionally is ok of course!), who can play board games with me while drinking wine and handle my competitive nature while doing so! I can say that I have always been more attracted to the All-American "guys' guy". I have a very outgoing personality and will talk to pretty much anyone, which can be good and bad. Please be ok with the occasional inappropriate comment and behavior. :)
At the end of the day, I am not totally sold on online dating yet, but it definitely could be a great way to meet people that you would not normally meet outside you work and social routines.
