Im a Detroit native and Spartan alum and after living the last 2 years in Chicago, have moved to sunny SoCal for a new job. And while I believe no place on earth can top the midwest, Im hoping the South Bay will change my mind. I love to laugh and have fun. I usually have no problem going out on the town for drinks and good times with friends or staying in and laying low on a Friday night....as long as I am in good company. I prefer divey bars to the clubs or anyplace where I can relax and have a few drinks with friends. Im pretty outgoing and have no problem meeting people and having fun whereever. I LOVE to watch sports and am extremely loyal to my Spartans (and the B1G TEN in general) and to my Detroit teams (even though they dissappoint me from time to time), and believe that nothing beats any football in the fall, or college basketball in the spring. Im still learning to adjust to morning kickoffs here on the West Coast. My family and friends are my favorite things in the world. Unfortunately everyone is 2,000 miles away. I cherish the moments I get to see them and only wish it could be more often. I am drawn to tall (the taller the better, but taller than me is required) and personable guys who are also outgoing and social, but I have never minded a little bit of the shy type either. So I guess my ideal type is a tall, honest, charming guy with good looks and a sense of humor, who loves sports, loves to travel and wants to explore and enjoy the area with someone equally as awesome :) Being that I am new to the area, I figured I would give this Match thing a try to meet new people...Im still forming an opinion on it as a successful dating site, but figured if I can meet some fun people - dating potential or not - then why not, right? I also have some good friends that had great success here and are slowly changing my skeptism that everyone on here is a creeper....if you arent a creeper, then bonus points for you :)
