I was born and raised in Central PA but got out after high school. Spent the next 10 years in NYC studying and working (I heart NY). I also did brief stints in Manchester UK and the Midwest. I've now been here in The District for 1 year (!) working in my dream job of the moment.
So what does this mean? It means that I enjoy either being in the middle of nowhere or in the middle of it all (read not a suburban girl). Love seeing live music, cooking or going out to get good food, or taking in the mountains and lakes somewhere remote.
I'm pretty restless and I'm usually trying to do something or plan some sort of potluck or game night. That just makes downtime all the more enjoyable! Oh, and I love movies. According to Netflix, I like critically-acclaimed crime thrillers, witty romantic foreign dramas, quirky independent comedies, visually-striking mysteries, and classic cerebral movies.
Would love to meet someone who's admittedly nerdy, can whip up some signature dishes, can eat blue crab, and is up for adventure. Let's go explore!
