Hopefully my headline gives you a little insight to my perspective on life. I do believe in fate and that many things happen for a reason, but I also think we have choices along the way in how we react to what happens in our lives. I'm definitely a grounded person - I believe in a persons integrity and honesty, and I try to have a positive influence on others around me. I'm compassionate, honest, loyal, fun, and easy to be around. On the relationship front I would definitley say I'm a hopeless romantic and I do believe there is one person out there that I'm probably most suited for and he for me - this is where that fate thing comes in. Hopefully we will both make the right choices along the way to find each other. All that being said, I'm very independent and comfortable being on my own until I meet someone I truly want to spend time with. I'd much rather spend time with friends and family than date for the sake of dating. I'm outgoing and enjoy being around people, but I rely on my personal time to recharge. I love to laugh so if you have a witty banter about you even better, and self-depricating sense of humor is a bonus. My friends, family, and my dog are very important to me. I have a Jack Russell Terrier who I absolutely adore. I appreciate and enjoy nice things in life (travel, good restaurants, a certain standard of living) as long as they don't define a person.
My ideal match would be someone who challenges me to be a better person. He should be spontaneous, outgoing, charming, funny, sensitive, compassionate , confident but not arrogant, intelligent - having someone who is intellectually stimulating is very important. He should also resemble the "emotional onion" and have a bit more depth than the average guy. I'm very attracted to men with strong personalities and a strong sense of self. He knows who he is, what he wants, and isn't afraid to take chances. Physically, chemisty is a must and someone who has expressive eyes and a great smile! Someone who is romantic is a plus as well. If you've ever seen the diamonds commercial where the guy is standing on the steps of a building and yells " I love this woman" and then gives her a diamond aniversary ring - well I would hope to find someone that can be that expressive and romantic about the way he feels. The diamonds would be nice too ;-), but it's the gesture that really means the most.
