So, about me....I was born and raised in MT, yes real people do in fact live there. I love it there. We worked hard and definitely played hard too! I guess you could say I'm a bit of tomboy in that regard... I like to dress up, but I can get down and dirty with the best of them! I have moved all over the country over the last 10 years and have tried really hard to take in the cultures around me. It's amazing how different we are, yet still very much the same.
I moved to New Haven to start (and hopefully finish) a Ph. D., which takes up a bunch of time, but I really love what I do. It's kinda crazy living out here on the east coast. Everything is so different than what! My work takes up a lot of my time, but I am making a conscious effort to work less. I really want to explore the area more and take in all that New England has to offer. Anyone down for a weekend road trip?
The most important part of my life is without question my friends and family. I can be a little guarded sometimes, but once I let you in I am an extremely loyal and dedicated friend. I have a dry sorta sarcastic sense of humor and generally try to see the positive in all the things life throws my way (this can certainly be tough though). I try to avoid drama, which I'm sure a lot of girls say, but there I feel there is too much to life than getting wrapped up in all that nonsense.
